This template is designed for you to have a telephonic interview-style discussion about the candidate and contains common criteria used globally. Where possible, use the discussion to probe for more information that can assist you in making your hiring decision.

It provides you with the opportunity to ensure you are evaluating the candidate correctly to criteria that are important for your business and the role. For every hire, you should ideally obtain 2 to 3 references from 1. Someone they reported to; 2. A peer; 3. Someone they managed – this will give you a 360-degree view of the candidate.
